Effect of basic agrotechnics for physical and hydrophysical properties of soil
Komárková, Markéta ; Doležal, Petr (referee) ; Kameníčková, Ivana (advisor)
In the master’s thesis, we evaluate the impact of different types of soil treatment on the physical and hydro-physical properties of the subsurface layers of soil. The experimental research took place near the town of Šakvice in two chosen areas treated conventionally, i.e. by tillage. The PRP SOL substance was applied to one of the observed areas. Unimpaired soil samples were taken during the vegetation period of the grown crops in the topsoil (10,20 cm) and in the undersoil (30 cm) on 13th May 2009 and on 10th September 2009. The chosen physical parameters of the soil, i.e. the reduced volume mass, the porosity, the distribution of pores, the actual content of water and air, were determined by standard analytical methods. The double-ring infiltration method was used during the field measuring of infiltration. The Philip’s equation and the Philip’s type three-parameter equation were used for the data analysis, serving as a base for estimation of saturated water content Ks. A protractor with a constant gradient was used during laboratory measuring. The results of a year-long research have not shown any major influence of the PRP SOL substance on the physical quality of the subsurface layers of soil in the observed area. On the contrary, the permeability od the soil obtained on the basis of Ks estimation is higher in the area treated by the PRP SOL substance.
The impact of agro-technology on the physical and hydraulic properties of the soil
Vláčilíková, Michaela ; Doležal, Petr (referee) ; Kameníčková, Ivana (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the impact of agrotechnics on the physical and hydraulic properties of the soil. At the beginning of the work a literary research was elaborated on the above mentioned problems in the final part an evaluation of the physical and hydraulic characteristics of soil, which are used as indicators of soil quality. Experimental research was carried out in 2017 near the village Bohaté Málkovice, the soil on one area was processed by minimization technology and on the other parcel (with mild erosion) direct sowing was applied to the soil. The crop was sunflower.
Study of the behavior of selected rocks at high temperatures
Holanec, Aleš ; Sitek,, Libor (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the observation and diagnostics of transformations that take place in stone slabs of different mineralogical composition during heating to high temperatures. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with a summary of available information about selected types of rocks. Furthermore, it presents findings from the experimental thermal loading of a granite sample. The principles and instruments of laboratory experimental methods that are used to judge the resistance of rocks are described in detail. In the experimental part, the testing methodology is proposed, the procedure of production of rock test specimens is described and the way in which the thermal loading of stone slabs took place is explained. The results of the experiments are shown in the tables and graphs. A comparison of individual tests and properties of selected samples and evaluation of the obtained results is performed.
Measurement of infiltration in the field using MiniDisk infiltrometer
Vláčilíková, Michaela ; Doležal, Ing Petr (referee) ; Kameníčková, Ivana (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with measuring of infiltration by MiniDisk method and its evaluation, but also with analysis of intact and grab soil sample, by means of which it is possible to assess the soil quality. The measurements took place on 30.4.2019, 4.5.2019, 12.5.2019, 2.6.2019, 30.6.2019, 2.7.2019, 31.8.2019 and 21.9.2019 on grassland near the town of Luhačovice. Grab and intact soil samples were taken from the upper soil layer and processed in a pedological laboratory. The Zhang method was used to evaluate the infiltration results. The results of soil analyzes and infiltration were processed numerically, plotted and subsequently described and compared.
Use of recycled building materials to urban pavement constructions
Průdková, Hana ; Hýzl, Petr (referee) ; Stehlík, Dušan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the possibilities of construction and demolition waste management. It examines the issue of allocation and management of this waste and evaluates possibilities of their further use. It deals with production and use of recycled materials in construction of urban roads and economic advantage of recycled materials in comparison to natural aggregates. This work also discusses the issue of aerated concrete, as a modern building material, that will soon appear in construction and demolition waste to a greater extent. The practical part examines properties of mixed recyclates with a certain amount of brick and aerated concrete particles by testing the bulk density of grains and water absorption, freezing and thawing resistance and crushing resistance.
Development of new technology of sand autoclaved aerated concrete with using of secondary raw materials
Ondříčková, Pavlína ; Suchý, Peter (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
Autoclaved sand aerated concrete is a modern building material with high thermal insulation properties. Only sand is used as the primary silicate component of aerated concrete in the Czech Republic. For the more favourable economic and ecological properties of aerated concrete, the use of secondary raw materials is used in this work. The secondary raw materials examined included fluidized bed and fly ash, slag and glass recycled. The aerated concrete composite with secondary admixtures was developed under hydrothermal conditions of a laboratory autoclave for 7 and 12 hours at 190°C. From the secondary raw materials tested, a 10% glass recycler additive yielded the highest strength. Other additives that have a positive effect on mechanical properties include SAKO and Oslavany. From the results of the work it is evident that the use of secondary raw materials increases the strength, improves the rheology of the mixture and supports the formation of tobermorite.
Comparison of properties of alternative pellets
Jansa, Oldřich ; Moskalík, Jiří (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the alternative pellets and the means of production from raw material to final customer. The theoretical part deals with different techniques and manufacturing technologies used. Furthermore, the work deals with Czech and European legislation in the field of fuel pellets. The practical part deals with measuring and comparing the properties of selected standard pellets.
The Combustion of Organic Lightweighting Agents in the Chamotte Materials
Smékalová, Veronika ; Keršner, Štěpán (referee) ; Sokolář, Radomír (advisor)
Lightweight chamotte products are popular building material. There are many types of lightweight chamotte on the market, but the most popular lightening options are organic ingredients. This brings some problems to the production of these products. This thesis deals with the burning of various types of lighters from shards of fireclay materials. In the theoretical part are summarized raw materials, which are necessary for production of lightweight chamotte. The results of the published research studies on the topic of lightening of organic lightening products are being described here. The practical part deals with properties of products made of clay or kaolin with the addition of a certain amount of lighter. These added lighters are spruce sawdust, beech sawdust, peat, bran, paper slurry and anthracite. All these lighters are direct. For comparison, the cenospheres, which represent indirect lightweights, were also included in the research. For all specimens, the temperature interval of burnout of specimens, refractoriness, classification temperature, bulk density, thermal conductivity coefficient and other properties were defined.
Survey and Diagnostics of Reinforced Concrete Structure
Richterová, Dominika ; Heřmánková, Věra (referee) ; Anton, Ondřej (advisor)
The main theme of this diploma thesis is a building survey and diagnostics of a reinforced concrete construction. In the first, theoretical part the focus lies on a description of each method for testing constructions and their evaluation. The second, practical part focuses mainly on finding of material characteristics and reinforcement of particular parts of the construction. On basis of obtained information, the final part of this paper focuses on static assessment of chosen parts of the construction.
